Help us celebrate Britain’s National Drink during this year’s
National Cask Ale Week.
From March 29th – 5th April the nation’s pubs will raise a glass to real ale
to toast everything brilliant about beer.
Visit the National Cask Ale
Week site.
Its that time again, folks. Our branch need to nominate the
beers that we think should be voted for as Champion Beer of Britain.
These votes then get collated with all the London & South East
entries into a masterlist to be entered into the national list.
We normally vote at our February branch meeting, however this year
the list will be available on this website along with a voting form.
As usual we are only responsible for selecting beers from CAMRA's
definition of London & South East (defined as Central Southern,
Greater London, Kent, Surrey & Sussex and Wessex Regions, in case
you may be wondering why Dorset counts as the South East).
Now
in its 37th year, the Good Beer Guide is fully
revised and updated, with details of more than 4,500 pubs across
the country serving the best real ale.
From country inns to urban style bars and backstreet boozers,
all selected and reviewed by CAMRA's 100,000 members, this is
your definitive guide to finding the perfect pint.
