Preparations are well underway for our annual beer festival.
It will be open between Thursday 14 October and Saturday 16 October.
The branch will of course be pleased to see you at the festival as
a' customer The festival is supporting CAMRA's "LocAle"
campaign which aims to get pubs serving 'more locally brewed ales.
The festival therefore will be sourcing the main supply of beers
from brewers within a 30 mile radius, and we will have a selection
of ciders, perries and foreign bottled beers for you to enjoy. 'The
2011 Good Beer Guide, to be launched in
September, will also be available for sale.
'
We are also looking for volunteers to set up the hall and staff the
festival during public opening hours. To this end, here is a link to
the staffing form and would ask
you to consider giving some of your valuable time to work at the
'festival. If you have never worked at a festival before please be
assured that we do all have fun, and that you will be made very
welcome.
